‘Extremely rare’ fossil tooth of hamster-sized monkey found in Peru

The fossil tooth has now been stored in the collections of the Institute of Paleontology at Peru’s National University of Piura. A 3D scan of the fossilized tooth found in Peru’s Amazon jungle.
